Outside state candidates are not eligible for admission in Government Colleges to Engineering/Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy, MBA, MCA, MBBS / BDS and admission under lateral entry Programme. There shall be no examination centres outside the State of Orissa.

Candidates, applying under this category, should have passed M.E. standard oriya conducted by Board of Revnue, Orissa or equivalent to be in Class-X Board examination of the concerned state (except Orissa). If necessary JEE committee may conduct a test of Oriya for NR candidates as part of the examination during counselling.
