| NOTICE |
CLARIFICATION ON CLAUSE NOs. 8.6 & 8.4 OF THE ACDEMIC REGULATIONS
ON COMPREHENSIVE VIVA-VOCE AND PROJECTS |
| (A) Clause No. 8.6: Comprehensive Viva Voce Item |

This shall be done by a committee of Teachers with participation of an External Expert from an Institution / Industry of repute.

| 1. |
The Committee should comprise at least 3 members including an External Examiner. |
| 2. |
The External Expert should be preferably from an Institution / Industry outside the jurisdiction of BPUT. However, this could be relaxed, if retired persons from this type of Institution / Industry are available in other institution.

| 3. |
TA and DA as per rules of Government of Orissa will be paid by BPUT. Air fare / Taxi Bill will be paid with prior approval of the Vice – Chancellor. Bills should be furnished in the prescribed format (download from our website) of the University. The College is required to pay the bill and get the same reimbursed by BPUT. If any extra amount is being paid, the same will be borne by the College.

Rs.500 per 30 students will be paid by BPUT as Honorarium for conduct of Viva-voce. |

| Other provisions as incorporated in the Academic Regulations under Clause no. 8.6 shall be maintained. |
| (B) Clause No. 8.4: Project Item |
|
Similar practice is to be adopted for conducting the defence for Project. Other provisions as incorporated in the Academic Regulations under Clause no. 8.4 shall be maintained.
