NOTIFICATION
 
Subject: Change in clause 8.1(e) of Academic Regulations for clear (pass) a theory paper in the end semester examination.

Based on recommendations of the 5th Academic Council Meeting held on November 12, 2005, it was decided to withdraw the clause 8.1(e)-(I) of Academic Regulations, the current system of a minimum of 12 percentage points in three class tests, to clear (pass) a theory paper in the end semester examination Clause 8.1 (e) is changed as follows:-
 

Clause 8.1 (e): A candidate shall clear (pass) a theory paper if he/she secures:

(I)   A minimum of 25 percentage points out of 70 percentage points (in each theory paper)in the end semester examinations and

(II)  A minimum of 37 percentage points out of 100 percentage points in three class tests and end semester examination taken together (in each theory paper).
NOTE:

Improved status of the candidates (1st, 3rd & 5th semester) after change in Academic Regulations 8.1 (e) will be notified within a week.
