Sub. : Communicative English for the Non-MBA streams – Curriculum for 2007

 

 

With regard to the curriculum for Communicative English for B.Tech Engineering, B.Pharm. and MCA streams the following points may be considered :

 

 

• The curriculum prescribed for 2006 for Communicative English shall be in operation for the year 2007-08 as well. The details that follow pertain to the curriculum of the first semester.

 

• Within the given curriculum, attempts should be made to make the students improve their proficiency in communicative English.

 

• A set of model questions covering each of the four modules is being prepared and would be circulated soon. It is requested that these questions should be utilized by the teachers in framing their mode of teaching as far as possible. At the end of the module they may also use these questions for providing practice to students in order to prepare them for their examination.

 

• Attempts are also being made to locate and make available teaching aids (e.g. CDs, printed materials etc.) for use in class.

 

The above notice may kindly be circulated amongst all the teachers of Communicative English in your institute.
