Pursuant to approval of the government for admission to private medical and dental colleges (MBBS course in Hi-Tech Medical College, Bhubaneswar, and BDS course in Gandhi Dental College, Bhubaneswar) it has been decided to conduct the counselling (medical) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses on 13.9.2005 (Tuesday) (time of reporting 9.00 AM) at the Conference Hall of OUAT, Bhubaneswar. Extended merit list (Medical) for all reservation categories have been published and available in the web-site: bput.org/jee05. Accordingly rank cards have been sent to the extended merit-list rank holders to attend the counselling on above time on that date. Candidates having rank, (i) General: 268 to 491, (ii) SC : 24-30, (iii) ST: 35-40; GC: 65-70, may attend the counselling on above time on that date so that their admission to MBBS and BDS courses will be considered.

Availability of courses, seats in different colleges, and fee structure is as follows:

In pursuance to resolution no. ME-II-IXM-55/03 21126 dated 28th August 2005 of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Orissa, the fee structure for MBBS and BDS courses for the private medical and dental colleges is provisional in nature and is subject to the decision of the Committee on Fee Structure.

Documents required at the time of counselling: (i) certificates in proof of candidate’s date of birth and certificates for proof of candidate’s eligibility for admission to medical streams, (ii) Bank draft of Rs.200/- (counselling fee), and (iii) Rs.50,000/-(part payment towards admission fee in private medical and dental college) in favour of “JEE-2005, Orissa”. The balance fee is to be paid at college level.
